The company, was founded in 2003 with a vision to provide emergency financial solutions across Africa. Social Impact
At Platinum Credit Ltd, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a key component of our Company’s Strategy and business activities. We play a fundamental role in society by lending money to people and businesses Therefore, CSR is both an opportunity and a responsibility for our business. We aim to empower and improve the quality of life for customers through the provision of affordable financial solutions and appropriate CSR projects in the society. We endeavor to positively impact the lives of those in the community we operate in, through giving back.
One of our core CSR pillars is Health, for several years now, PCL has partnered with various organizations, including Nairobi Hospice, Mama Zawadi foundation, Zana Africa, various hospitals and dispensaries to supports patients and families facing life limiting illnesses especially Cancer and HIV/AIDS. We have always embarked on a mission to “Put life into the days of the patients, and not just days into their lives’’. This has been culminated through direct financial support to enable provision of Palliative Care, charitable donations of basic commodities, furniture, water tanks, etc.
We have also positively impacted the lives of various members of the community through donation of sanitary towels to over 80,000 school girls, tree planting, Maternal and mental health galas, renovation of schools and prisons, sponsorship of various communal activities and sports e.g. sponsorship of Eldonet Basketball Team from Eldoret.
